Duck and Almonds   (download pdf)
8 duck breasts bone out.
¼ tsp. Pepper
¼ paprika
1 tsp minced onions
4 tsp. Butter
garlic salt to taste.
¾ lb. Fresh mushroom or 2 small cans sliced
1 c. sour cream
½ c. toasted almonds, halved
½ cup of red wine.

Sprinkle duck breast with salt, pepper paprika. Melt 2 teaspoons butter in baking dish. Roll duck meat in to coat and place in pan. Bake in 400 degree oven about 20 min or until duck is brown. Turn chicken. Combine ½ cup of red wine; pour over chicken. Bake 40 Mins longer or until duck is tender.

 Meanwhile, slice mushrooms and saute in 2 tsp of butter. Add sour cream and remaining ¼ cup of wine. Heat slowly, stirring until well blended. Add half almonds. Transfer duck meat to serving dish. Top with sauce and remaining almonds.
