Venison Stuffed Green Peppers   (download pdf)
 

Ingredients:
6 green peppers, seeded & blanched

½ lbs. ground venison

1 tbsp. vegetable oil

2 small onions chopped

¼ cup rice, cooked

½ tbsp. worcestershire sauce

1 8oz. can tomato sauce

1 16oz. can whole tomatoes

1 clove garlic minced

Place meat in a skillet with oil, onion, garlic, salt & pepper to taste. Saute until meat browns. Remove, drain excess oil from meat & place in a bowl with rice, tomato sauce & Worcestershire sauce. Spoon this mixture into blanched peppers. Place peppers, upright, in a casserole dish with tomatoes & juice. Cook 40 min. in a 350 oven.
